shea sylvia [blog edition]

These are the everyday adventures of a California Girl in Kansas City (with guest appearances by a boy, two pugs and the world's fattest cat).

Despite recent evidence to the contrary, this is NOT a wedding blog. I swear. Really.

BTW, all opinions posted here are my own.

    Say hello to Max.
Operation Rescue Pug was finally a success!
He is curled up next to me as I type this.  For the adventure he’s had, he’s doing really well. A good flea bath (actually, two flea baths), quality dog food (Blue Buffalo) in his belly and playing with his new brother and sister (at least for a little while) make for quite the evening. Especially considering where he has been for the past two weeks.
He’s super skinny- you can see his ribs. But I think he’ll fatten up nicely in a few weeks.  He’s a good mix of playful and sweet - he is good at snuggling and has been following me around the house all evening.  Despite a few accidents, he’s catching on quickly and I think his bad habits will be broken in no time.
If you or someone you know would be interested in giving Max a permanent home, email me - shea.sylvia [at] gmail.
