These are the everyday adventures of a California Girl in Kansas City (with guest appearances by a boy, two pugs and the world's fattest cat).

Despite recent evidence to the contrary, this is NOT a wedding blog. I swear. Really.

    Our trip to Northern California can be summed up as follows:

    • We went to the beach.
    • We took a lot of pictures of ourselves on the beach.
    • We ate amazing seafood (at the restaurant where we’ll be having our reception, no less).
    • We visited with family. My niece officially has me wrapped around her little finger.
    • We loved every second of it. 

    I’ve now added “Convince Aaron to move back to California with me” to my five year plan.

    Santa Cruz, CA.  Full of good things: my dad, the beach, my favorite restaurant of all time - The Crows Nest, amazing sunsets and sunrises and the most eclectic group of residents you will ever meet. Aaron and I will be making our first trip together to my homeland in August. This will also be his first time meeting my family.  I can’t wait. (Sunrise in Santa Cruz via my Flickr)
